Hannah Karema Tumukunde Denies Trafficking Accusations and Plans Legal Action

Former Miss Uganda and Member of the Academy of Queen Hannah Karema Tumukunde has refuted trafficking accusations and has instructed her legal team to take action on the accusers such that the provide evidence to court as the law says “Who alleges must prove before court”

Through an interview with a Local YouTuber “Allan Cruz” on his channel, he broadcasted a lady who alleged that Miss Hannah Karema Tumukunde was involved in selling of girls to work in countries abroad and the video has been making rounds on different social media accounts and once the video reach Karema, she immediately issued a statement refuting the claims.

Hannah Karema confirmed that the allegations in the video are “completely false, baseless and deeply hurtful” to her brand name and assurances interactions with her legal team to bring the accusers to book.

“My Statement on the False Allegations Circulating Online.

I have seen the false allegations being circulated about me online, and I want to address them directly.

I categorically and unequivocally deny all the claims being made against me. They are completely false, baseless, and deeply hurtful. These accusations do not reflect who I am, my values, or the work I have done as Miss Uganda 2023/2024.

I take this matter very seriously. It is currently being handled through the proper legal channels, and I am fully cooperating with my legal team to ensure the truth is established. I reserve my right to take appropriate legal action against those responsible for spreading defamatory information.

In the spirit of transparency, I remain open to addressing these allegations on a credible public platform where facts not rumours can be discussed honestly and fairly. I am confident that the truth will speak for itself.
