Dr. Shamim Nambassa the elected Woman LC5 Councilor for Kawempe south and a member of the National Unity Platform has responses to questions that have been raised by many individuals on whether they shall take oath of the different positions yet they are challenges the results that were announced and declared a different Presidential Candidate not the one they say was voted by the people.
This also raised much concern after the National Unity Plafrom party president went silent after the announcing of President Yoweri Museveni as win and many hoped for the challenge of the results but the candidate had to run for his life and left home and went silent on the matters but later was seen in Geneva giving and update on the different matters that happened during the election period.

In her response while appearing on Baba Tv on a program titled Gangamuka, Dr Shamim stated that they won’t be sworn in if their party leadership decides so and since it’s the party that guides them on what to do based on the desires of the people that voted for them.
The newly elected councilors and Member of Parliament legislators are expected to have sworn into office in May and we shall update you on the next move from the National Unity Platform leadership
Shamim Nambassa worn the Kawempe South Woman LC5 Councilor seat after the National Unity Platform fronting her as their candidate in the race.

Nambassa is a pharmacist that originates from Butambala and daughter to the late Mugalula Addul, she served as the 87th Makerere University Guild president and she graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy. She attend Nabisunsa were she served as Head Prefect in 2017
