NUP Risks Becoming the Next FDC- MP Justine Nameere Warns

The Elected Masaka City Woman Member of Parliament and Presidential Advisor Justine Nameere has warned The National Unity Platform of finishing like the Forum For Democratic Change since the party lacks grass root foundation.
“NUP cannot survives without Bobi Wine, the party lacks grassroots structures and is surviving on his popularity across Uganda” – MP. Justine Nameere
Basing Nameere, the current and biggest Opposition Party in Uganda lacks clear ideology and is built more on hype and rhetoric than solid political foundations making look similar to FDC that was headed by Dr. Kizza Besigye.

Comparing the National Unity Platform(NUP) to the Forum For Democratic Change (FDC), Nameere claims the NUP is also yet to loose collapse after Bobi Wine lose momentum in the political as it was on Besigye.
The outspoken politician also touched on her own controversial victory, maintaining that NUP’s Rose Nalubowa allegedly connived with Electoral Commission officials in an attempt to rig her out of the Masaka City Woman MP seat, forcing her to seek justice in court.
Her remarks have since sparked heated debate, with NUP supporters dismissing her claims as propaganda, while others argue she raised uncomfortable but valid points about party structures in Uganda.
